We collect your child’s diagnostic evaluation and any prior treatment plans. If you don’t yet have a diagnosis, we can refer you to trusted Georgia evaluators.
Our BCBA runs an initial functional assessment (typically 1–3 sessions) and writes a treatment plan tailored to your child’s goals.
We submit the treatment plan to TRICARE East for prior authorization. Once approved (typically 1–3 weeks), regular ABA sessions begin.
Yes. Through the TRICARE Autism Care Demonstration (ACD), TRICARE covers medically necessary ABA for military dependents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Georgia families fall under the TRICARE East region administered by Humana Military.
ECHO is the TRICARE program that authorizes and administers ABA under the ACD. Families must enroll in ECHO through their branch’s Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) to access ABA benefits.
TRICARE Prime beneficiaries typically need a referral from a Primary Care Manager. Standard and Reserve Select do not need a referral for ABA, but authorization is still required.
TRICARE ACD requires the Pervasive Developmental Disorder Behavior Inventory (PDDBI), Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales (VABS), Social Responsiveness Scale (SRS-2), and Parenting Stress Index (PSI-4) at initial and repeat intervals. GRBS administers all four.
