Yes. GRBS is in-network with Peach State Health Plan and accepting new Georgia Families and PeachCare for Kids members across metro Atlanta and Northeast Georgia.

Does Peach State cover ABA therapy in Georgia?

Yes. Georgia Medicaid covers medically necessary ABA for members under 21 through EPSDT, and Peach State administers those benefits for its Georgia Families members. An autism spectrum diagnosis, medical necessity documentation, and prior authorization are required.

Does Peach State cover PeachCare for Kids members?

Yes. PeachCare for Kids members are served through the Georgia Families CMOs, including Peach State. ABA coverage follows the same EPSDT medical necessity rules as Georgia Medicaid. Full details on our Georgia Medicaid page.

What happens to Peach State in the 2027 transition?

Peach State was not awarded a new contract in the December 2024 procurement. Current CMO contracts have been extended through June 30, 2027, and members would be re-enrolled with a new CMO before the transition with continuity-of-care protections. GRBS accepts every current CMO, so most of our families will not experience a gap in care.
